Terms & Conditions for Vehicle Finance

We are a credit broker and not a lender. Finance is subject to status and finance company acceptance. We can introduce you to a limited number of lenders and their finance products. We will typically receive a commission from the lender, as either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage on the amount you borrow. The commission we earn does not change by the type of finance. A guarantee may be required. The finance rate will vary dependent of customer personal circumstances for in dealership purchases.

Terms & Conditions for 14 Day Money-Back Guarantee

Applies to all used, ex-demonstrator and pre-registered cars. Customers can return the car to the dealership within 14 days from delivery/collection, if usage is under 500 miles, and receive a full refund (and cancellation of any finance arranged through us) provided that it is returned in the same condition with all keys, manuals etc. The customer will be responsible for arranging return to the dealership and for any costs of doing so.

If the V5 has not yet been received by the customer and cannot be returned with the car, a sum of £250 shall be retained from the refund until such time as the original V5 is provided, or the dealership is able to submit the registered keeper change online.

Any part-exchange vehicles will be paid at the agreed valuation unless a return of the part-exchange vehicle is agreed. Any return of the part-exchange vehicle would be without any liability for the condition of the part-exchange. Excludes commercial vehicles and motorcycles.

Terms & Conditions for Home Delivery

Home delivery on used cars is free if you live under 30 miles from the Bristol Street Motors dealership where the vehicle is purchased. Any subsequent delivery cost is calculated at an additional £1 per mile over and above 30 miles.

Home delivery is only available Monday - Friday and across mainland England, Wales and Scotland (subject to the delivery location being accessible). The following locations are excluded from Home Delivery: Northern Ireland, Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Orkney Isles, Outer and Inner Hebrides, Western Isles, Shetland Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles and Channel Isles.

In order to protect against fraud (including identity theft) the following process will be followed:

- Customers are required to provide sight of their driver's licence prior to Home Delivery either (at Bristol Street Motors' absolute discretion) (i) by video call with the supplying dealership; or (ii) by prior arrangement in person at a local Bristol Street Motors dealership.

- Home Delivery will be to the customer address on the Vehicle Order Form which must match the address on the customer's driver's licence.

- The vehicle will be driven to the customer address by the supplying dealership (or its agent).

- Delivery of the vehicle will only be to the named customer and their driver's licence must be available to be re-checked on delivery.

Terms & Conditions for Reserve Online

On successful payment of the reservation fee, we will reserve your chosen vehicle (the Vehicle) for you for 48 hours (the Reservation Period) to enable you to speak to one of our sales advisors. If you make a telephone appointment within the Reservation Period, we will reserve the Vehicle for you until the time of your telephone appointment and extend the Reservation Period until your appointment.

If you have not made a telephone appointment with the selling dealership within 48 hours to discuss the Vehicle, or you do not attend an agreed telephone appointment within 7 days, the Reservation Period will end, your reservation will be cancelled, and your reservation fee will be refunded to you.

Terms

There is no obligation for you to buy the Vehicle, or for us to sell the Vehicle, because of the reservation fee payment. When we receive the reservation fee in cleared funds, we will reserve the Vehicle for you and prevent its sale to a third party for the duration of the Reservation Period. You will receive a confirmation email once the reservation is effective. If you do not receive a confirmation email, then your reservation has not been made effective, so please contact us for assistance.

There may be circumstances when the Vehicle has already been sold (before your reservation fee is paid) but the website has not yet been updated. If this occurs, we will contact you to confirm your reservation has been cancelled and to see if we can find an alternative vehicle for you. Your reservation fee will be refunded.

If you do not make arrangements with the dealership within 48 hours, or if you do not attend an agreed telephone appointment within 7 days of placing your reservation, the Reservation Period will end, and your reservation will be cancelled, with your reservation fee refunded.

If you attend a telephone appointment to discuss the Vehicle and decide not to proceed, the Reservation Period will end. If you purchase the Vehicle at that appointment, your reservation fee will be retained by us as part-payment towards the Vehicle and will be treated as a deposit for the Vehicle. If the Vehicle is not suitable, and you do not wish to purchase it, your reservation fee will be refunded to you.

We may cancel your reservation if you have reserved more than 2 vehicles at any one time, or if the Vehicle is withdrawn from sale for any reason. Your reservation fee will be refunded in either case.

Any refunds can only be processed by the same method as the original payment and to the same card. Refunds will be processed within 7 days of the request, or of cancellation of your reservation, or upon your confirmation that you do not wish to purchase the Vehicle.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the failure to comply with these terms, which is outside of our control, or for any loss or damage that was not foreseeable. We have no liability for any loss of profit, business, or business opportunity.

Aftersales Offer Terms and Conditions

Vehicles within manufacturer warranty at the date of service will be serviced in accordance with the relevant manufacturer's requirements. Vehicles no longer within manufacturer warranty at the date of service will be serviced in accordance with Bristol Street Motors requirements.

The service offer covers the provision of labour and parts for the vehicle service but excludes:

1. the cost of spark plugs or fuel filters;

2. the replacement of any parts that wear out as a consequence of use and which would normally be expected to be replaced periodically, for example (but not limited to), brake pads and discs, wiper blades, tyres, clutch friction facings, cam belts, suspension components, DPF filters and brake fluid changes; and

3. any other work identified as part of a vehicle health check at the time of the service.

The following vehicles/vehicle ranges are excluded from the service offer:

1. Nissan - all commercial vehicles, the Nissan Navara and the Nismo, GTR and RS vehicle ranges.

2. Volkswagen - all vehicles 3 years of age or under, all vehicles with an engine size over 2.0 litres and the VW Golf R.

3. SKODA - all vehicles 3 years of age or under, the Skoda Kodiaq and all vehicles in the VRS range.

4. SEAT - all vehicles 3 years of age or under, the SEAT Terraco and all Cupra vehicles.

5. Hyundai - all vehicles 30 months of age or under, all vehicles with an engine size over 2.0 litres and all vehicles in the N range.

6. Peugeot - all vehicles 30 months of age or under.

Any service performed does not constitute a warranty of any kind and will not cover the replacement of parts which suffer a mechanical failure.

Vehicle Valuations

Online vehicle valuations are based on the description and specification you provide for your vehicle at the point of valuation.  Should your vehicle not match the description or specification provided, we reserve the right to change our valuation.  Subject to your vehicle matching the description and specification provided, our online vehicle valuations are guaranteed for 7 days when you book an appointment at one of our dealerships.  If you do not book an appointment, our valuation is not guaranteed and may be subject to change.

Golden Ticket New Car Event | Terms and Conditions

On successful payment of the reservation fee, we will reserve your chosen vehicle (the Vehicle) for you for 48 hours (the Reservation Period) to enable you to speak to one of our sales advisors. If you make a telephone appointment within the Reservation Period, we will reserve the Vehicle for you until the time of your telephone appointment and extend the Reservation Period until your appointment.

1) PRIZES: Prize Winning Golden Tickets are available at each Participating Dealership for customers who order a new car from Bristol Street Motors. Each customer will be offered the random choice of ONE Golden Ticket of value of either £750, £500 or £250 (Promotion).

2) OFFER: Individuals (not being a company) who order a car between 10 and 20 November 2023 (inclusive) (Promotion Period) for delivery on or before 31 March 2024 will be offered a choice of Golden Ticket. Customers can choose to have the face value of the ticket selected (Prize) either:
• added to their deposit for the car; or
• automatically paid to them after taking delivery of the car by bank transfer from the Participating Dealership.

The Prize cannot be combined or used in conjunction with any other offer. Only one Prize can be claimed per purchase of a car. Any of the Prize(s) can be varied, withdrawn or extended at any time without notice.

3) ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to participate in the Promotion you must be aged 18 or over, residing and holding a valid bank account in the UK and require registration and delivery of the Qualifying Product in the UK (Participant). Employees of Bristol Street Motors or its affiliates, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).

Participants must:
• Order (via SMS or digital signature of an order form) a retail car during the Promotion Period;
• Select a Golden Ticket; and
• Take delivery of the car on or before 31 March 2024.

4) PARTICIPATION: Each Participant may only participate once and must only do so on their own behalf. Participants will only be entitled to one Prize per Qualifying Product purchased. Participation constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions which may be updated from time to time. Bristol Street Motors reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who it considers (at its absolute discretion) has violated these Terms and Conditions.

5) CANCELLATION: Participants who cancel their purchase will not be eligible to receive the Prize. Where Participants return the Qualifying Product at any time after the Prize has been paid (by adding to the deposit or payment on or after delivery) the Prize will be reclaimed from any refund in respect of the Qualifying Product.

6) LAW AND JURISDICTION: This Promotion and these Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The Participant irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).

This ticket giveaway is provided by Vertu Motors plc, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 05984855) whose registered office is at Vertu House, Fifth Avenue Business Park, Team Valley, Gateshead, NE11 0XA trading as Bristol Street Motors (BSM). Participants agree to these terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) and any information or guidance published by BSM form part of these Terms and Conditions.

1) TICKETS: 2 pairs of seated tickets to The Carabao Cup Final 2024 (Carabao Cup) at Wembley Stadium (Venue) on Sunday 25th February 2024.

The prize is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Under no circumstances can this prize be transferred to a third party or sold for any financial amount. This ticket giveaway does not include any associated costs or expenses (e.g., travel costs, food, drinks, fuel or any additional costs) other than the entry / seating tickets at the Venue.

The tickets are subject to the terms and conditions of entry to the Venue. The winner and their guest attending the Venue to enjoy their prize must comply with all policies, rules and reasonable instructions provided by the EFL, venue operators and/or any authority at the venue. The EFL, the relevant venue operators and authorities reserve the right to remove any entrant or winner (and/or their permitted guests) for failing to comply with those policies, rules or instructions or otherwise behaving in an inappropriate manner.

2) ELIGIBILITY: This ticket giveaway is open to any person resident in the UK who is over the age of 18. Employees of BSM or its affiliates, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).

3) TIMING: This ticket giveaway runs until 24:00 (midnight) on Thursday 15th February (Giveaway Deadline).

4) ENTRY: To enter you must follow the link, enter your details and make your choice of supporting team ‘Liverpool’ or ‘Chelsea’, before the Giveaway Deadline, for your chance to win. The following details are required for entry: name, date of birth, email address, home address including postcode and supporting team.

Each person may only enter once and must only enter on their own behalf. There is a maximum of one (1) pair of tickets per entrant. A ticket may be used by a person under 18, but that person must be accompanied by an adult. Entries will be ineligible if they are incomplete, are found to be part of an attempt to enter multiple times, violate the rights of any other person or entity or are received after the Giveaway Deadline. No purchase is necessary to enter the ticket giveaway.

Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and all terms and conditions of the Football League Limited Conditions of Issue as well as the Wembley National Stadium Ground Regulations each of which may be updated from time to time. Both of these documents can be found at www.efl.com/ticketconditions. Winners must abide by those terms at all times. BSM, the promotor or the EFL accept no responsibility if the winner and/or the winner's guest are denied entry or asked to leave the match for failure to abide by such terms, any applicable law or regulation or because of their inappropriate behaviour.

BSM is not responsible for any failure or inability to enter. BSM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who it considers (at its absolute discretion) has violated these Terms and Conditions.

5) SELECTION OF WINNERS: the pairs of tickets will be selected at random by BSM at its absolute discretion from all entrants who have entered the ticket giveaway and met the entry requirements before the Giveaway Deadline.

6) NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: The winners will be notified via email by BSM in advance of the Carabao Cup Final. Tickets will be available for collection for match day collection from the Venue (Wembley Stadium) and the winner must provide photo ID and any other documents as may be necessary to prove their eligibility, or the Tickets will not be released.

7) USE OF YOUR ENTRY: Each winner consents to his/her personal data being provided to the Venue. The EFL will be provided with information (including name and address) of the competition winner for prize administration and databases will be checked against any club banning orders as well as the National Police database for those who may be subject to a court banning order. The EFL will not otherwise use winners' personal details for reasons other than the above, unless lawfully permitted to do so. Winners are responsible for the behaviour of their guests.

Each winner’s personal data will not be retained or used by the Venue for any purpose other than distributing the tickets. Any personal data you provide when you enter may be used for future BSM and any affiliated company’s marketing activities only if you indicate your consent to such activity. Otherwise, this personal data will be used by BSM and agents acting on its behalf only for the operation of, and in connection with, this ticket giveaway.

8) OTHER: No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this ticket giveaway or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, BSM’s decision shall be final. BSM reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this ticket giveaway at any time and for any reason, without notice. Participants in this ticket giveaway agree that BSM will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, costs, damage, disappointment or losses of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, misuse or use of the tickets, or from participation in this ticket giveaway. Nothing in this clause shall limit BSM’s liability in respect of death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence or liability arising out of BSM’s fraud. This ticket giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the Venue, EFL or the Carabao Cup.

Notwithstanding any other terms and conditions of this ticket giveaway (including all terms and conditions the Football League Limited Conditions of Issue as well as the relevant Ground Regulations in force at the Venue), no refunds or any other monetary compensation will be paid in relation to any Ticket that a winner has won in this competition where any Match is rescheduled, postponed, delayed or cancelled (for whatever reason).

9) SPIRIT OF THE TICKET GIVEAWAY: If an entrant attempts to compromise the integrity or the legitimate operation of this ticket giveaway by cheating or committing fraud in ANY way, BSM may seek damages from that entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, BSM will disqualify that entrant’s entry to this ticket giveaway and may ban the entrant from participating in any future giveaways/promotions/competitions run by BSM or any of its affiliates, so please enter fairly.
